The BCDSS offers a number of publication series, each with a distinct format and each engaging with slavery and other forms of strong asymmetrical dependencies.

The "Dependency and Slavery Studies Series," published by DeGruyter, consist of monographies and edited volumes.

The "Joseph C. Miller Memorial Lecture Series," published by EB-Verlag, comprises small monographs based on the lecture series of the same name.

In the "Working Papers" BCDSS members report on preliminary research results or contribute to current debates.

The "Concept Papers" aim to develop theoretical frameworks around the new key concept of strong asymmetrical dependencies.

The "Discussion Papers" are devoted to discussing the theoretical side of 'strong asymmetrical dependency.' They serve as impulses for researchers in and beyond the BCDSS who intend to work with the new key concept of strong asymmetrical dependency.

The BCDSS Reader is a collection of relevant texts on the topic of Strong Asymmetrical Dependency. It is intended as an orientation and educational resource.
