The Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Stduies (BCDSS) wants to encourage all its members and friends to support and assist the victims of the earthquake in southeastern Turkey and nothern Syria. We are deeply shocked by the huge loss of lives and the destruction of livelyhoods in this region, which belongs to one of our important areas of study. We feel with those colleagues who have personal ties to the region, with our colleagues from the region and with everyone who was affected by this catastrophy. Please consider to make a donation to one of the relief organisations in the list below that to the best of our knowledge will help the earthquake victims speedily and effectively.
