Libraries
Dependency and Slavery Studies in the Main Library by Klaudia Inanç
If you love books just as me, you definitely have to know where is our Dependency and Slavery Studies section in the Bonn University and State Library (see the map below). The library is located in the mesmerizing place, just next to the Rhine river! I love going there when I need to study, because while working I can also look at the beautiful river :) If you need some motivation (seeing people working hard always make me work as well!) or you just need to find a quiet place where you can focus on your exams, this is perfect place.
Where is our section in the library? After you go downstairs, you need to turn right and continue walking till the end of the corridor, there you will find Dependency and Slavery Studies section :)
Library of the Institute of Philology by Klaudia İnanç
The University and State Library (ULB, main library) is not the only place where you can find books of your interest. It may be a challenge to find some of the other libraries. For my own research, I needed a book from an Institute of Philology, which is located at Rabinstraße 8 (see the map below). When you enter the building, you need to leave your jacket and bag in the locker room. In here you don’t need a coin to use in your locker, but a PIN. Library is on the 4th floor. If you don’t know where you should look for your book, you can always ask the students working there, they are very happy to help! ;)
Before you can borrow books, you need to „register”, you will do that by simply filling a form. Important! You will need your Matriculation number.
