Title of current research project: "From Global Networks to Local Policies: The Institutionalization of Eugenics and Inequality in 20th-Century Brazil"
Academic Profile
My current research project focuses on understanding the global networks that influenced eugenic processes in Latin America, specifically in Brazil during the 20th century. The project aims to demonstrate the institutionalization of practices that reinforced racial and social inequalities, which is fundamental to understanding the role of eugenic ideologies in constructing a legacy of discrimination and exclusion. Additionally, it sheds light on how these global movements continue to influence contemporary inequalities.
